3 Healthy Holiday Smoothies
I have started experimenting with festive ideas and am really loving the gingerbread one of these smoothies!! It tastes too yummy to be healthy.. and yet there is nothing 'naughty' about it! The other two are really yummy and healthy too and they are all really simple to make.
Three Christmas / Holiday Smoothies:
Gingerbread Smoothie
- 3/4 cup cooked cooked beans - navy or cannellini
- 1 tsp treacle
- 3/4 cup soy milk or almond milk
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp fresh ginger
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla protein powder
- pinch of nutmeg & ground cloves
Peppermint - Candy Cane Smoothie:
- 5+ peppermint leaves or peppermint oil
- 3/4 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 2 Tbsp coconut cream
- peppermint candy cane
Strawberry & Spinach Smoothie - festively coloured!
- 1 frozen banana
- handful spinach
- 3/4 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract or vanilla protein powder
