~Hey yall, Misty here~Well I thought it was long overdue for a cooking video, so I thought I would share these cookies with yall~Here is My recipe~The original one is from the Cane Creek Cooking cookbook, it is on Page 204, by Judith Stoll, I split it in 1/2, and got 5 1/2 doz. cookies~
Pre-heat oven to 350*
1/2 c. White sugar 4 c flour
2 c. brown sugar 2 tsp baking powder 4 c. oats, quick or old fashioned I use old
2 c butter/shortening 1 tsp soda fashioned, 1 1/2 c chocolate chips, and
4 eggs 1 tsp salt 1 1/2 c nuts, 1 c coconut opt.
mix wet ingerdents together and mix in separate bowl the flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
After wet ingredents are mixed well, then add flour mixture and mix well, then add the oats, and mix well, then add chips, nuts, and coconut to all or 1/2 the batter. I baked the 1st batch right away and it was good, I chilled the rest and rolled into walnut size balls with wet hands, and faltened some, and baked for about 10-15 min, just depending on how chewy or firm you like them.
Well thanks for watching, and God Bless~
~Enjoy~
