Easy Help I'm In A Hurry! Kentucky Hot Brown Sandwiches
Greetings! Remember the Mornay sauce we made for the fish roll ups? Well I had a bunch of it left, about 3 cups worth that I put in fridge. So I decided to use the sauce and make Kentucky Hot Brown Sandwiches for supper! This is a very good way to use up the leftover sauce and make an amazing meal fast!
The Kentucky Hot Brown Sandwich originated at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky in the 30's when the chef decided to make something different other than the typical ham and eggs to serve to the guests after the entertainment had finished in the main ballroom. The Kentucky Hot Brown was born.
This is really a simple dish consisting of toast, turkey, tomatoes, bacon and a rich cheese sauce. The entire thing is place in the oven to become brown and bubbly and delicious!
I hope you try this and I hope you love it!
Happy Eating!
