YourProduceGuy shows you how to make Pumpkin Bread with some of those fresh pumpkins that you still have hanging around the house. This is a delicious recipe that also makes for a great holiday gift for friends and family.

Pumpkin Bread using Fresh Carving Pumpkin!

Wet:

• 1½ c. raw shredded pumpkin (can use up to 2 cups)

• 1 egg

• 1/3 c. oil

• 1/4 c. water

Dry:

• 2/3 c. sugar

• 1 1/4 cup flour

• 3/4 teaspoon baking soda

• 1/2 teaspoon salt

• 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

• 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

• 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

Gradually stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake for 350 for 40-50 minutes- until toothpick comes out clean.

We also did a batch using 2 eggs and the bread turned out even more moist and had a really great flavor as well.
